HOW TO FILE BANKRUPTCY

Here I am discussing the mechanics of filing a bankruptcy case.  I do my best throughout the process to make sure you understand why I am doing what I’m doing and why I’m asking for the information from you.

The building of the bankruptcy case  is easy in that you only have to react to my requests.  You don’t have to figure out anything at all.   I am the architect and general contractor for this project and you only have to help me build it by getting me the raw material (the information).

However, I am also there to make sure you don’t make any mistakes while we are preparing the case, by which I mean things that will cause consequences for you or others close to you, or by which you’ll spend money unnecessarily.  To do this we need to work as a team, with you staying focused on how what you’re doing may impact the pending bankruptcy case.  For this you must be active and involve me in the decision making.

Even if you’re not used to working with an attorney you can easily get the hang of having a legal counselor.  I am very easy to contact and diligent in communicating to a degree highly unusual for lawyers.  Most of what you’re paying LeverLaw for is not the mechanics, but my time and advice.  It is a flat fee, so you should ask for it.  You’ll see it will be a very profitable relationship for you.
