LEVERLAW BIO

Steven Lever did his undergraduate work at the University of California, Santa Barbara, graduating in 1988, and graduated from McGeorge School of Law in 1991.  Mr. Lever has practiced bankruptcy law almost exclusively since graduating law school, first working for a law firm that has a bankruptcy trustee on staff, and then became a partner at a bankruptcy boutique law firm, Clarkson, Lever and Gore.

In March of1995 he went out on his own, and has practiced law in his own firm since that time.

Realizing that bankruptcy was often the result of a lack of financial planning, Mr. Lever studied financial planning at the University of California, Irvine, and completed the program in Personal Financial Planning in 2003.  This broader base of financial knowledge gives his clients an edge in gaining maximal results from their fresh start.

Mr. Lever is an active member of the following professional organizations:  The National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys;  The Central District Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys' Association and The Orange County Bankruptcy Forum.  He frequently and regularly attends meeting and educational programs of these organizations, and uses their various other resources.

In his spare time Mr. Lever spends time working in his garden and helps his wife raise their infant daughter.
